The BMC MTB Racing team is a leading team on the UCI XCO World Cup circuit. Founded in 2010 by Alex Moos and since 2013 part of the Shimano family. From that moment the team in general and Julian Absalon in particular helped us develop the first electronic drivetrain in history of mountainbiking; XTR Di2. In 2014 the team claimed the UCI XCO World Championship title with Julien Absalon on XTR Di2. The team is a mix of experienced riders and young, talented athletes who race with the BMC Teamelite 01 hardtail and the BMC Fourstroke 01 fully. Both bikes are equipped with a Shimano XTR Di2 drivetrain, brakes and wheels.
